Memphis Rain

Last Friday I stood in the rain for over 4 hours to cover John McCain and Hillary Clinton's visit to the Lorraine Motel to mark the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. King. But it was well worth it when I saw the front page of the New York Times the next morning.

Hillary didn't seem too happy to be there, which is ironic since we're the ones that stood in the rain while she was two hours late.

Front page of the NY Times? That's awesome! Good job.

I think that might be Hillary's solemn face, but its hard to tell. These days, I don't think she's happy anywhere she goes.

any frown on a Clinton's face makes me smile. :-)

I was just there and they would let us out on the balcony during my visit. I guess I am not a VIP.

It's good to see your mom smiling these days...
